Homework Together

Two friends compare homework over the phone, puzzle out a word, and plan a study session with snacks

Noor — A seventh-grader stuck on her science reading · Rami — Her classmate, wrestling with the math

  1. Noor

Hello, Rami? It's Noor. Are you busy?

hunā nūr — 'here (is) Noor' — is the formal way to name yourself on the phone; Hebrew says מדבר/ת. Nūr 'light' is the same name in Hebrew: נור.
